What is the difference between years for the arm rests on the doors. I have an 89 IROC and need new/used good ones, they are separating on mine.

 

Size wise I believe most years are the same. There does seem to be some minor appearance difference between some years.Have you tried cementing the cover material back down again? I have had pretty good luck with marine type adhesive. Spread the adhesive best you can between the cover material and the plastic shell. I then used a short piece of 2x4 ontop of the armrest and clamped the cover material down on the plastic shell until dry. If the vinyl cover has been unglued from the armrest for a while it has probably shrunk some. As you clamp it back down do the best you can to get to wrap back around the edge of the plastic shell.
