[PICS} A few changes to my 91 Trans Am Convertible
Back in late August is when I bought the 1991 Trans Am off of E-Bay. This is what it looked like when I got it home...
First thing I did was change the top as it obviously needed a new one....
In addition to this, I also changed out the cracked dash pad with a good one and swapped out the headlight switch with one with lettering on it. So much for keeping this as a racer / beater...
I was happy thus far, but finally couldn't take looking at the crappy paint job on it any more. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the front bumper was COMPLETELY faded with many chips in it. The hood was in bad shape and the paint around the windshield was peeling away, so I said F'it and did this........

Looks good. I am doing the same color scheme right now to my new vert'. Black, black top, tan interior, black tint on the windows.

Lovin it! I don't think I've ever seen a black on black (now its time to do a black interior) T/A. Where are those pictures located (where you see red robin), god that looks familiar.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I'm very happy with it. Of course, now that I've got it back, the weather has turned cold and it's been raining all day today...

Beautiful looking bird, im a fan of the white/tan combo i would have have kept it the original color but wow what a change over to black. Looks great.
Id vote to paint the inserts of the rims black also to help match.
Love the 91-91 Trans Ams especally those tail lights.

THere was a Black/Black 92 TA at hte Trans Am nationals a few years ago, he had Black Leather Ultima seats the whole shebang, only $5000 IIRC, I was really tempted to buy it.
Looks like a really nice car, Bring it to the Nationals in Dayton This Aug.

Here are a couple pictures. It actually looks better in person than these pictures show, plus I still haven't had a chance to clean up under the hood since the paint job...
You can see in the back of the engine compartment the part that is still white. When it comes time to change the motor, I'll get that part taken care of.

Not bad at all! I just wish they made our rims in 17"
To me, our taillights just don't look right on any car except a black one!

very nice. Even tho I'm personaly against changeing the color of a car. If it a different shade that's ok. But as a Judge at the local car show cause my cars have won 4 weeks straight and that has one happen 4 times before. They have become show champs. So Every few weeks they have me on the judging schdule, and You would get hit for having a white fire wall. But other wise she looking great. Beside fire wall hit would be 50 points. But there is other way to make that up.

Done!! Just moved the plate down to the air dam under the car last weekend. Can still see it while in another car in the front and the bumper itself now looks smooth!!

Since you've posted in the Convertible section I'm going to assume that is what it is. As far as pricing, it really depends on condition and miles. Mine was high miles and needed some things done to it, so I got it for what I considered a REALLY good price. I always go by this principle though when it comes to pricing things.... It's only worth what someone else is willing to pay.
