I want to fabricate a two seater.

I was looking at the 2 seater early convertibles and I really wanted to fabricate something like that on my 92 T/A vert.
What would you suggest that I should do and what is the easiest way to do it. (I am looking into fiberglass).

I want to fabricate the top part (you know, the bat mobile looking part)and just make the bottom part (the one thats perpendicular with the seats) removable and have bad 15 inch dual subs underneath it!

What do you think??? Plus, any ideas are welcome.

You have one of 663 '92 T/A verts ever made (not near that many left) and you want to chop it up?

Please buy a 92 RS vert (or better yet a Mustang) if you want to do this. My car will cry over the loss of its sibling if this happens.

It's your car, you can do what you want ... but a lot of people will despise you for it.

If you want an Autoform ... the best thing to do is to buy and Autoform.

There's a guy wanting to do this to his Z on here also, and it turns my stomach.

[edit] Are you posting this just to get a rise out of people? If not, why would you post it in the vert forum where people would go crazy? This should be in the fabrication forum if you're really serious about it. [/edit]

no i think its a good idea, but dont chop up the car, just make a cover that bolts in the place of the original and keep the original cover incase you want to put it back to stock. This one is on the fbodymotorsports site, very nice work on this car! the cover is functional too!

GC take it easy man, no I am not chopping up my vert. LOL.
Like speedy mike said, I want to make the cover so it looks like the autoform one. Just take my old one out, store it and have this cover on cuz I like it. Never will I chop up a 92, one of 600 or so, verts. Thats just insane.

However, I am getting the 2nd gen screaming chicken on the hood. Its something I want to do (wether you like it or not).

Now, that bird that Speedy Mike posted is awsome. Do you know where I could get in touch with this person, or do you know what kind of cage he used???

Whew!! No chopping = good!

I haven't seen that kit before ... it just replaces the factory tonneau ... OK, you have my permission!

I do like the idea of the screamin' chicken. I have thought about doing that myself, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I'm having a hard time with polshing the TPI (my current project) since it takes away from the originality a little. I guess I'm just crazy.

LOL, I feel like we are related (just by the way you were bitching at me ). We are the family of 663 members! Gotta stick together. LOL at ya anyway. .

I am thinking of fabricating that whole top out of fiberglass. This is my longterm project, and I might do it over the winter. ITs my first time getting into fiberglass and would like to make this. One of the reasons (apart from it being cool) is that I want to cover my big system that I plan on putting in, instead of the back seat.

Screaming chicken is defenetly what I want to do. I, however, want to do the second get chicken on the whole hood. Call me nuts, but I just love the screaming chicken.

I think what would look good would be to have it actually go all the way to the headrests and slope back (kind of likethe Autoform cars) or like the Solstace/Sky...

Sasa, that cover that F-body Motorsports made looks sick. I would definatly look into one of those if they are avalible for purchase, or at least contact them to see if they have more pictures, or specs to make one yourself.

Nice find Speedy Mike!
