My car looked just like this before I started "customizing" it.
"Low Reserve" - I'll be watching this one.

There's a black '91 or '92 Firebird convertible for sale about 3 miles from my house. I'm pretty sure it's REALLY cheap, and it's not in too bad of shape. Some TLC and it'd be a nice car, if you want me to I can go get some information on it for you. Send me a PM if you'd like me to.

That is disappointing for that car. It looked really nice.
TRANS AM logo on the bottom of the doors would have brought more than a Camaro badge any day (unless, of course, that Camaro also says IROC on the side). The only cars I like as good as mine are the IROC verts.

Here in Michigan Firebirds seem to go for more, you talk to some people selling parts, like Hawks, and he will tell you that firebirds just dont pull the money like Camaros in his area...
I have worked on both and although it would seem that they are essentially the same the Firebird is just a tick nicer, better thought out and easier to work on for SOME things... For example the dash in the camaro there is a screw right above the steering column that you have to get a shortie handle to take out, its not there on the Firebird... Its little stupid things like that.

No, but it was a convertible. Maybe you missed the point of this particular forum, Gomer.
John... I think we can all agree that Camaros and Firebirds are all a matter of taste. I would dispute whether Camaros sell for more than Firebirds strictly becuase the Birds were optioned higher. Outside of that, there are likely more folks out there that prefer the Camaro over the Firebird. Not my fault they don't have good sense.

Consider that the cars of value that were made in the late 60's early 70's were those cars that started out as a bargain basement car but when you optioned the heck out of them or got the COPO designation tht got you a special Engine etc then that makes them desirable. 1) you had an obtainable car that most people could afford. 2) that same car with the best engine (which was not obtainable by most people) = Worth collecting...
