Approaching "Cherry" status
Well, OK. Maybe "Pretty darn good" status.
My top arrived at the installer today. If I am lucky, it will be installed before the meet I have to attend in South Lake Tahoe on the 24th.
Here's a recent picture of why I have to do the install. Also, it shows off the new center section of my taillights I've been wanting for a while. If you have a set of '91-'92 taillights for sale, I want to know!

Afraid so. I'm getting the glass rear window this time. Shouldn't ever be an issue again.

I'm still trying to decide if the reduced field of vision and extra care needed to fold down a glass window top is worth the longevity. I'm sure it probably is, but my 'vert just sits in the garage most of the time, so window clouding is not a big issue. The original window just got replaced a couple years back (13 years!)

Nice lookin car. Does anyone know if the quarter trim and spoiler from a Firebird will fit on the Camaros? I like the looks of what you have on yours a lot better than what I have on mine.

I think it looks 'showroom', faults aside. Mine had scratches before breaking, but nothing that affected the inside view out in my mind... I'm not as picky either though hahaha, Anyway, I highly advise snow and ice removal with utmost care....that's what did mine in, ultimately. The up side was it allowed me access when my keys were locked in! It also allows opportunity [sp?] as well, if ya know what I mean

FINALLY!!!
There is a lot less wind noise at speed now and the new stayfast top feels a tad fuzzy. I was able to find an installer who was able to do the install while I was on vacation on the West Coast of Michigan for a couple hundred cheaper than the first guy.
Other than an engine swap and modifications/changes with the powertrain, I think the car is done. Now I need to keep it in tact for a potential move to the Research Triangle in North Carolina (job interview on Monday -- wish me luck!!)
Cheers!

A lot of people make the window "care" into a bigger issue than it really is. All you have to do when folding the top up or down, is fold the rear seats down. If you don't fold them down, the top simply will not move. If you push too hard then the glass will shatter. But if you feel tension and it's not wanting to move then you KNOW what it is. It's simple:
step 1: fold rear seats down
step 2: fold top up or down
Easy as pie
Also, there isn't really much of a crimp on your rear vision either. When you look in your rear view mirror, all you see is what's through the glass window and maybe an inch or two of the top itself.
Cadillac, she looks sexy! I'm diggin it! Now go get those windows tinted and you're set
