This is an awesome 91' T/A vert I found on Ebay. It is just like my '92 (minus the low miles and the luggage rack). The car is pricey, but it is a drooler!

Much more rare than the Cams. Especially this one with the five-speed. Check out the history/restoration part of the forum, and the Tech Data link on the thirdgen.org home page for more info.

I think that guy has his numbers wrong... there was around 1000 Firebird verts produced in '91 if I recall correctly. He may have used the same logic I used that assumes at least half were V8 cars and the other half were sixes. It seems like there are a lot of them out here... well, more than in other places. I was at a light in Walnut Creek, CA and facing me in the opposite direction was my exact car with different wheels.

Oh well.

That was a very rare occurance in my life. Never happened again.

950 Firebird verts in 91. 1265 in 92. 555 TA verts in 91. 663 TA verts in 92.

The one on ebay sounds like it might be a little high. Starting bid is 6 Grand! I got mine (in much better condition) for 5,500.

And this one has a weird gray cloth interior (seats). I don't know if it is correct, but it sure looks weird that the door panels, plastic on the seats, carpet, etc. is tan and the seats are gray. I haven't seen another 91 or 92 vert TA with cloth. I know most of the firebirds were cloth, but not TAs.

Are those really the factory leather seats in that car? They look so much like 4th gen TA seats. Never seen seats like those in a thirdgen, leather or not.

Hey gcgarner,

You know how they say "The cobbler's kid has no shoes" ... so it goes in my household with photography. My wife is always on my butt about pictures. To me, taking pictures is like work, because that's what I do all day. So, when I'm home (messing with my car), the last thing on my mind is pictures.

But now that I've been called out, I will get on it ASAP!

Check out my studio's web site:

Also, if any of you guys need some BIG prints made of your car pictures, upload them to me on my large-format printing site:

Here is my '91 with only 34K miles:

I have only seen one other one back in 1993. That is it...

My interior is completly gray, so I don't know what the deal is with the tan/gray combo interior on that car...

My car had a weekend: Napa Valley.

I actually like the Formy hood. Priceless to me, yours for 10K. Bargain? Talk me into it.

that sucks in states like NJ, maryland and CA that you have to have a front plate...my friends dad in maryland complains about the front of his mustang roush being scratched up all the darn time. i couldnt imagine what i'd do if my car was required to have a front plate and screw up my bumper like that...

That's still illegal- CA requires that the front plate be 'securely fastened' to the front of the car.

V.C. Section 11713.17 - Front License Plate Bracket

Also, with the advent of IR plate scanners mounted on cop cars (they started using them here in LB about 6 months ago), I'm considering finally putting a plate on the front of my car... (it, too, has never seen a front plate in its 16 years on the road). I heard that these systems can also alert a patrol officer if the car has no plate either.

Thanks for busting my *****! Just kiddin'.

Seriously, my company doesn't do any high-volume work. All of our prints are custom printed by lab technicians for the best color and quality, so we can't really compete with "Winkflash" prices. And we don't do cheesy stuff like "photo mugs", just large-format professional prints.

And the girl I got to model for my Web site is WAY hot and well worth looking at!!! Guys, get your pics of your third gens in here!!! Printembig.com
