I've seen plenty of 91/92 firebird verts with a V6. Can't answer on the Camaro's, but I'm pretty sure at least the 91-92's could be had with a V6.

GM began offering V6 'verts starting with model year 1991. They were especially popular with the rental fleets. Prior to that the only V6 convertibles would be the ones that were converted by for either an individual or dealer by ASC or one of the dozen or so other aftermarket converters.

I've got a V6 convertible...Not quite the same though, since it's an Autoform convertible instead of GM/ASC...
