I saw this on Ebay and it looks pretty clean. I thought someone here might be interested.

Wow, that is identical to the one I just bought, other than I got an A/T. I spent $1900, but it needs a little work. That sounds like a very reasonable price.

i thought in 1990 there were no z28s, it was just a straight IROC package.. if that is the case, why would they say z28 on the dash?

From 1988-1990 there were only Irocs, the Z28 model was dropped. In this pic u see that the badging on the grnd efx says IROC, not Z28 like my 87 Iroc. So why would the internal badging say Z28 if there wasn't a Z28 package?

I couldnt tell you why, but it does. I can take a picture of it if you like......or you can just take our word for it. I have a 1990 Iroc-Z28. I believe it is considered a Z28 with the Iroc performance package.

Heck if I know, but thats how it is.
Edit: maybe it has something to do with how in 1990 Chevy changed the color of the badges to yellow along with the guages. mabey it only says Z28 on the 90 Irocs. just a thought.

it has ALWAYS been an "IROC-Z" even in the years that there "were no Z28s."
What does that Z stand for? Z28 of course. It is an IROC-Z28, or a Z28 with the IROC performance package. All IROCs (i think) say Z28 on the dash with the letters IROC-Z in little writing right below it.
If you look closely at the picture, it has the badge i just described.
