I used to draw lettering on my tires as a kid too. BUT, with the 16" wide, deep rim diamond spokes, I prefer the blackwall.
On my Cads, forget about it, but recently a custom '88 Deville pic featured large custom rims with the low-profile rubber...as hokey 'pimped' as that seems, these looked super fine! The car was shaved of all but the lower chrome trim...handles and locks gone!
Very cool, fiftys/70s style mods

I don't think there is a difference in the bolt pattern but I understand where you are coming from.

Now... about those taillights.

They Shipped them to Canada too. This factory 1991 came with a special order code Z28 hood. The Ronals were a must addition

I'd say downsize you pic so the pixel blocks are invisible. I use ImageFolio software from Concord digi camera's software, should be avail on line. I use it with my new Sony digital cam as well, I haven't seen anything better yet, though I suppose there might be

When your camera limits your options, the software really helps, in the case of ImageFolio, not only do you have pixel and paint editing, you can rotate, crop, rescale (two options), sharpen (I always use for fuzzy pics!) and soften, emboss in different textures, inverse (negative edits, etc.) You can even change file types with it, to compress for more space

Thanks for the compliments Rezz. Your ride is looking good, I like those firehawk wheels. Looks like it was just a low-res camera the pic was taken with.

Well here is mine. I've seen mostly IROCS and thought a T/A would be nice to me seen. Does anyone have any info on 1992 Trans am's? I have one that is in great shape and would like to know how many were made. Mine is a white with tan interior, 305 TPI, performance suspension, aluminun driveshaft car. Any help would be great. Thanks

Yeah, lots and lots of Camaros here!
If ASC was doing conversions in 1983, it's a new one on me, was it done further down the road from production?
Do you think it was a proto, or a show/concept car?
Bill

BTW, rescale your pics smaller and they should look a bit more detailed. I use a sharpening effect to get rid of fuzz from the camara, stuff that looks like camcorder shake, with Imagefolio it works great. I checked on this program, came packed with the Concord Mini eye-Q camara I bought but is avail. on line. You can compress pics with it too, if they are too large, or of course, crop the extra bits off

Take some pics of early converts top/frames, int...stuff that differs is always of interest I think. What mods make it unique. I recall seeing that square light between the seats...is that factory? My vert has NO interior lights other then the dash itself. I use a flashlight...all year long! hehehe
Here's a resized, yet sharpened pic from my negs transferred to Cd from 35mm standard film. They aren't as sharp as I would have expected. I should try different shops for the same Negs to see what results.
Anyway, this was before rust and dents got real bad!

The mods prefer keeping a thread consistant with pics, but on the same token, it impedes slow connected users like me. Make sure you resize'em small enough to load up, otherwise they won't.

If you host, it's not a concern I'd say, but max uploads to 700 or 800 pixels. I tend to do that when saving most cam pics. I don't have a car shot with me YET, but how about one I took at work?
hehe

Since we've gotten philosophical...

If you made a wrong turn enroute to a destination and had to backtrack the backtracking would be progression toward the destination.

Another for instance: General Motors seems to have completely lost touch with it's customer base. They keep making ugly cars and pricing them way too high. EX that Pickup truck that transforms itself into a (UGLY) roadster I think they call it SRS?... I read in a magazine that Chevrolet had expected those things to sell like hotcakes... The article said that dealers try to keep about a twenty day inventory of automobiles on their lot. At the time of the writing of the article nationwide there was over a three hundred day supply of those vehicles.

SO, having made a WRONG turn in doing away with the Fbody and bringing out an overpriced bomb like the SRS progress would be to backtrack and produce a product that people will buy and provide it at a price they will pay. Bring back the Fbody!

All "progress" is not forward or even linear...

Well, how about, I don't think the truck is ugly, however, because of the price, people aren't flocking to it like Dodge's earlier designs (PT Cruiser, of course) that with the advent of the pricy Viper really shook the auto industry, yet everyone is playing favorites and all new cars look the same, by and large. The boxy car became a curse, and the Taurus and VW brought bubble/jelly bean cars to manic buying/making proportions. It's truly sad that looks and quality, both build and technical aren't able to combine in a manner they hinted to throughout the 1980s. I'd say the muscle car era is the most interesting phase in car-dom. It will not be repeated in my mind, yet the V series Caddies are quite interesting. The retro look is in (in my mind)! You may recall when Motor Trend combined Corvette ideas into a future Eldo. The rendering (on the cover) was better then any GM car they've made yet...truly would have been a good move
