I'm not sure how much concern you have over originality but I replaced my entire 89 RS top and from with a 91/92 lined top/frame. The quality seems much better, less wind noise and I like the lines a little better. (lower miles I might add also).I scored by entire top for like $500 and sold my old used 89 top (200,000 miles plus on the frame) for $200 to some guys in Miami that looked like Willie Coyote dropped an acme anvil through the roof of their ragtop!

I got one from Hank and it worked great. I don't know if I would bother with a used top unless you got really lucky and found one in great shape. I don't want to be doing that job again any time soon.
