1984 Z-28 fuel sending unit
Hi everyone, my name is Matt and I am brand new to the 3rd gen website. This spring I am starting to restore my 1984 Z-28. After spending a couple days reading the forums online I have a question/request. Besides junk yards are there any options to buy a new fuel sending unit? My camaro used a mechanical fuel pump and is a carburetor motor. From what I have read GM discontinued the fuel sending units from 1982-1984, is it possible to use a 1985 or is that strictly for fuel injected units? Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
Thanks,
Matt

Matt deffinately not the section you want to be posting this in. Either post a wanted ad for the fuel sending unit in the Wanted Parts section or go to the carburetor section and ask the carburetor guys what they do. Welcome to the site.
