FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

My buddy paid Dwayne Golembiewski of Twinsburg Ohio about $1500 for a set of 4 firehawk wheels and 2 tires over a month ago. No rims have been shipped, and no money has been refunded despite an agreement between dwayne and my friend.

Not sure what the reason is, but $1500 is a lot to be scammed out of.

Beware.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

The last time he was on was yesterday, so he's still getting on the boards. Here is a link to the original thread for anyone that hasn't read it.

Seems like $1500 is a strong enough case for internet fraud

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

personal problems, which sometimes happen. Apparently its been taken care of and the money will be refunded this week. We can let this thread die until then. I'll respond when its received and all this will be cleared up

I've never had a problem with dwayne before. I've been dealing with him for years, and he's always taken "payments" when I was short on cash. We've even hung out at the hot rod power tour. He's always kept up on his word. This was one of the first deals I've heard of him not keeping up on. I wouldn't say its normal by any means, and its obvious that he's pretty upset that I even posted this since his previous feedback has been spotless.

But the fact is that no matter how nice/honest dwayne is, there is still a sizeable amount of money floating around that has not been refunded as of yet. Regardless, after speaking to my buddy the other day, he was under the assumption the money would be refunded soon after the last phone call, not weeks later.

I figure a couple posts that could light a fire to get the refund would be a better way than to drag the law into it. It always just goes downhill from there anyway.

Um this is a public forum, you should be mad at the poster of the thread for bringing it up....not us. Either way, the original poster ruined your good name in my opinion, I wouldn't deal with you.

I pretty much figured it out...

1. The seller accepted payments on the wheels.

2. While accepting payments, the seller spent the money like it was a weekly paycheck.

3. For some reason the deal didn't go through, so the buyer was offered a refund.

4. Since the seller spent the money, there wasn't $1500 to disburse at that moment.

5. A month later the buyer still hasn't gotten a refund (nor the wheels) and his friend made that known on this forum.

If I'm wrong on any of this please clarify.

But my question is: Why a refund? How come the buyer isn't getting the wheels as originally agreed?

I guess we will never know all the details.....

Well first off this has nothing to do w/ anyone on this website. This is a private deal and is being taken care of.This is noones business around here.He posted wrongly and since noone is involved on this website you should keep you comments to yourself!!!

Yes I took payments from the buyer over 4-5 months.I never spent the money at all.Its all still there.Every damn penny!!!!I told him about when he would received his money back and he said that was ok and that he understood and appreciated me calling him.

5. A month later the buyer still hasn't gotten a refund (nor the wheels) and his friend made that known on this forum.

Hey I'll state it again, you need to be mad at the original poster for bringing this up.

As far as getting my facts straight both you and the original poster aren't giving us enough information to get straight facts. I'm just making assumptions based on what was presented.

Um did you make this deal based on a thread you created on this website? Or was this handled through other channels of communication like the local paper?

I think the original poster did the right thing by bringing this out in the open, obviously someone felt like they were scammed or done wrong or this thread wouldn't exist.

I'm sorry, but if anyone makes a thread in the feedback forum, I'm curious as to what happened....especially since your still wheeling and dealing in the classifieds. And I'm still curious why the buyer didn't get the wheels

I'm not going to keep arguing with you, I hope everything gets resolved in the end.

If you didn't want it to be public like this you should have told the original poster......

This deal wasn't even made thru or b/c of my post on the wheels.
For unfortunate reasons nobody will be receiving the wheels, end of story, personal matter thats nobody's business but between me and buyer!!
How am I still wheeling and dealing? I'm selling stuff so what? I cant do that? I have a spotless feedback record, now b/c stupid ppl taking one bad thing and they blow it out of proportion, now I'm a SUPPOSED scam artist and everything else they wanna say!!! And they don't even know whats going on!!!!!Well Whatever, this matter is taken care of and what else I'm selling has nothing to do w/ this nor should it affect it!!
Hell,I didnt even know he did all this bashing till I got home from the weekend.

All I gotta to say is I'm glad I have friends like Justin!!!

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

You dont have spotless feedback. It took you months to get another member his parts after receiving your end of the transaction. Phone calls and e-mails ignored by you, for weeks on end. This is just another thing on top of that.

You deserve the bad feedback because you consistantly dont hold up your end of the bargain.

Just from a quick glance, looks like he waited a good 4 months.

I do have a part in this.... If your going to try and pull fast ones on people, everyone should know. So you can call me all the names you like, but you are beginning to show a pattern for crappy transactions, and I'll be sure to let people know. Have a good day.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

I hate to jump in on this but I am glad that I saw this thread. It is hard for people to buy something that they can't pick up themselves. That is why I try and buy from people that are local to me so I can pick up the items myself. I'd beat the living hell out of the person that would rip me off. Fasterthanumark is one that I wouldn't buy from. For a while, I wanted to buy quite a few things from him but after seeing this, I backed out. I'm glad that I did. I would hate to have to fly out somewhere far just to crack someone's skull. Why do you post something for sale and then take it back, and especially after they sent you the money.

Is that what happened? That's what I'm interested in finding out myself.

Did he accept payments over a few months and then renig on the contract and decided to keep the wheels....and then waited another month and one-half to refund the buyers money?

Since the seller won't verify this Justin89Formy, can you?

Because if I'm a potential buyer I would like to know these facts before forking over any cash. Especially if a refund wasn't offered right away, only to be offered a month and one-half later after a "bad seller" thread was created.

I'm not saying don't buy from him, I'm just saying that if you do buy something and it doesn't go through, you would have to fly out to Ohio and get your money back. If you don't know where to go, try this, it might work.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

WOW!!!All you people dont know whats goin on and have no say so!! It took months for me to get payment, then I talk to buyer 2 weeks ago and tell him what has to be done and I'm the bad guy? I dont think so!! I'm keeping my end of the deal.So if you arent part of this deal stay out and keep your stupid childish BS to yourself. As you can see from previous feedback I havent screwed anyone. As far as those threads from NEThirdgen, they have no meaning since it took awhile for us to meet anyways.

The refund WAS offered b4 this stupid BS thread.Sorry I just couldnt hand the buyer the money overnight.I called and told him what was going on and he was glad that I called and told him about it.

So why dont all you kids that dont know anything about this go mind your business somewhere else!!

The deal is being taken care of.No one but me the buyer and Justin know the reason why the refund. Its none of anyone elses business

Im not a bad seller and now your making me look like one!!
Why not go and ask all the people I've sold stuff to and see what they have to say?!! I have good feedback left on this board never any bad till someone gets in the middle and dont know exactly whats going on!!

OMG I do understand that that 1500 is alot of money, but Damn this is a issue with the buyer not his freind, were is this freind at that is concerns? This is all second hand info. I just don't understand why all you people seem to want to jump all over Dwane, I can say that he is a stand up guy and will do what is right, there has been some things that has come up that he can not control. I will put my personnal promice on this that the guy will get his money back, And shame one the posted of this you need to get the details before you star throwing stones at someone that has a spotless record! There are *******s on this site that you just can't make happy no matter what, that has been show in this tread. Stay the F-ck out of stuff that don't concern you!!!!!!!!! And the guy that just posted the info on Him Needs to stay the f!ck out of it!!!!!! That is not right posting someones personal address like that. Man just another reason I dont come on this site much

I WILL BUY FROM HIM ANYTIME!!!!!!

Dwayne, your actions are making you look like a bad seller. When presented with black and white evidence you come up with replies that dont help remove that doubt from a potential buyer.

Why dont you stop cursing people out, telling them to STFO, and get out of your thread and clear the air. Just a thought.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

I hate to be a party pooper, but it is our business if we will continue to buy from you. Next, I don't know who you are calling kid, but you better not be talking to me. Not to throw out a threat but if you would like to say something to anyone that has posted, wait till next week when I go on vacation for three weeks and I'll be glad to come and take what ever you have to say. Of course, I'll be showing up at your front door if you like. I don't like being called out and your way of handling the problem at hand makes me think that maybe you need to take out some of that anger, but elsewhere. I will be happy to volunteer for you to take the anger out on. I personally don't give a flying foo-foo how many good sales you have, if you screw up a $1500 sale, that is a big problem. I don't want anyone to throw out threats but you need to be careful who you start calling kid, calling BS on, and saying to shut up to. I think you are mad because now with your personal info in the open, you are ticked off. You should be.

Of course, I'm dumb. What would an idiotic moron from the Army that is too dumb for anything besides Infantry know about resolving problems!

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

I would buy from dwayne even after reading this, some of you guys have way too much time on your hands to jump in on his deal..If it was such a problem i would hope that the buyer would be in here not his friend or other random members. As for putting peoples info up on the board that is not cool and then acting like a big bad army cyber thug is stupid too. Intimidation is a funny thing that rarely works on the internet yet people keep trying. o well. something tells me if u have to try and act tough like that ure not much of a threat. Now i too believe this post should be deleted. This is all unjust and unfounded maybe if the buyer came in here complaining it would be ok but not third parties....

Why? Because you've had good transactions in the past?

And for the people saying I shouldn't be in here...I am simply passing word from the buyer since he doesnt have email.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

igotta355z28, I don't have to act tough, I'm not even trying but this whole thing is wrong in so many ways. Wasn't there another member selling stealth rams and got money from like ten people and never delivered. It is like the same thing. If the post is out of place, please, moderators, delete it. As far as posting on this board, as a person who has fought for this country twice and soon a third time, I will practice my freedom of speech. Sorry but I think anyone that attempts to stop the freedoms I and so many before me and currently fight for, are out of line. So I'm not saying shut up, cause that is really wrong, but don't take away the right to say what is on a person's mind. My opinion, if the mods don't like this thread, let them delete it. Simple.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

I think you all should Just let the Seller, Buyer, and Buyers friend handle this problem. I understand posting to get a Responce from him, but in the end all it really does is make drama. Seller calls Buyer lets him know whats going on, and is giving a refund. Hell Maybe something happened along the way? Hell, give it a chance to work out and see if he gets the refund.

And just so you know, and FYI.. You should NEVER take payments on parts. Just my 2 cents..

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

Im in here tryin to save face.Ive had many great dealings w/ people on here.I've never been out to screw anyone.Im taking care of the issue w/ the buyer.I dont know what else I can do to make anyone happy but its being taken care of.

The kids part,as many know this site has a bunch and some act like it.It wasnt meant towards anyone specific, but Im sick ofthe kid crap on here as many others will say also.

Everything Im selling is packed and ready to go,except for the wheels b/c of tires having to be dismounted since most people have said they dont want tires, just rims.

So the matter is being addressed and taken care of.I'd really appreciate that noone else keeps slamming me for taken care of a problem, even though it wasnt on here and that noone knows all the details of why/how this happened.Im NOT scamming ayone or their money!!

And Im sorry for swearing and getting pissed off,had to walk away from computer to calm down, but Im not what everyone thinks I am.Yes Ive had issues in my life and Ive tried my hardest not to have them affect anything I do here on the sites.I know it isnt an excuse, but Ive done or will do anything to take care of the buyer even at my own cost.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

Just to clear the air, I'm an ex-Active Army Combat Engineer, and a at present serving in the NY national Guard, and this is not how we were trained to represent the best fighting force in the world. Just to clarify that one simple time. As for the Hooah's, and the posting of private information that some claim to have gotten through military channels, thats a clear breach of OpSec, and if I were your SSG you'd be doing your 45/45 extra duty with no pay for two months. Again just to clarify. Have a good day all.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

all the Hoo Ah need to stop. As far as breaching OpSec, I did no such thing. I'm not a friggin' moron. I didn't use military resources but there are public search engines that are in info databases that not many people know about. Did you know you can look up someone using their phone number. If you miss a call and want to know who it is, you can search for them. It is for the public but not many know about it. I guess I worded it wrong. I look back now and see how I put it and it does look like I'm using military resources. Ouch! I can't believe that someone would think that I would be that dumb. You comment about the 45/45 for two months without pay is nothing compared to what they could do in IL!

Anyway, what ever happened to this transaction because I want to buy stuff from this guy but I want to know what happened first.

Just so you know, the US Army Reserve has all sorts of cool computer programs and stuff that helps you find people. Does anyone need info?

I'm just saying, be careful cause people can bend you over at anytime.
Worded it wrong? How is that "Worded it wrong?" I can't even tell you how much potential trouble you're in if you used a government computer to find someone's name and address and then post it up on a public site. You might have access to a government computer but I guarantee what you did is not on the government computer policy you signed, assuming you're the one who is employed, volunteer or not. Wow, the DOD would skin you if this is true... How's this scenario? This thread gets reported to investigators, they get a subpoena for your info, 3rd Gen turns it over to them, investigators pay you a visit and the computers you log onto on base or where ever. Honestly, if you didn't, great. But if you did...I'd be worried.

Sorry Daz but you never made a WHOLE lot of phone calls to me.You may have made 2-3 which I answered to tell you what was going on and where your part was.It took 2 months cause I tried to find the part in all the boxes I had from moving.I couldnt find it after a week or two of forgetting so I just gave up and went to dealer and ordered you new stuff at no cost to you, cause when we made the deal I told you if I couldnt find it I would just buy you a new one.

All4U,I sent him a m/o for part of the money and he should be getting another m/o by tomorrow.

Re: FASTERTHANUMARK a scammer!

So basically, FASTERTHANUMARK is a good seller than? We can cut the crap and buy from him again? That's what is sounds like if he sent out a money order for the refund. Am I getting this right?
