scammed on rims
ok i didnt know you guys had this here but now that i see it i might as well warn people now....
i bought a set of 91-92 16" wheels off of a kid on this board(91slowmaro) or something like that i dont even remember, well anyways as the story goes....
i sent the money via money order ($360) and i emailed him to see if he had gotten the money, he said he did have the money but had been sick and would get them sent out asap....well after about a month of waiting i had to buy another set of wheels because i was gettin ready to put the car on the road....i emailed him back and told him that if he wnated to just send my money back instead of the rims that would be fine bc i explained the situation. he said he had legal fees to pay and had spent it so he had to send the rims and supposedly was in the process....after about a week i asked again and he had said he sent a money order to me....this really doesnt make any sense and i never got the money order, but unfortunatly its my word verse his because he tried to say im scamming him. btw his screen name is crownvic351w and is always on but just says i am bull****ting him and to try and scam someone else. any help?

The nice thing about money orders is that you can have them checked and cancelled at a later date if they're lost or whatnot.
If he's thrown it away its his problem not yours, I'm pretty sure its fraud what he's doing.
