Hi Jeff - Today is the 8th of April and still nothing here. From what I have gotten from the Postal Service the first thing that needs to happen is to file a claim with them, You have to wait 30 days before filing. You have to process the claim because you are the one that shipped it,...... but I need to sign the form as well. I'll get back to the post office and get a postal claim from them (they had none when I was there ). After waiting 30 days I will sign it and then send it to you so you can continue processing it with the post office. I just saw that there was a "pending refund" on my Pay-pall account & wanted to write you a note after I read your message. I'll E-Mail you again on Saturday if I don't get the package by then John

Hi Jeff, As the sender of the package you will be the one that needs to file. Since you sent the package you would have proof of the shipment...... I.E. an Insurance slip or a tracking number tag. I don't have a slip, tag, or a damaged item (or package) to return to the post office so the post office will not deal with me here. ( I already tried that !!! ) Since I send stuff in the mail all the time I have also noticed a lag in the amount of time it takes to get a package from point A to point B. It took 2 weeks for a MAF from my 95Z to reach the guy in Texas that I sold it to...... & that was shipped 3-4 day Priority mail ! But it has now been a full month since you sent the package and that is way more than a delay of a few days. John

PayPall shows that you canceled the refund you sent on 4-17 and they also show that you are appealing their decision that you were at fault by proving to them that you already sent a refund to me. Since I have NOT gotten a refund from you of ANY kind I'm at a loss to explain what is going on here ? Can you prove that you sent a refund regarding this deal to ME ! All you had to do was deposit $ into your checking account and E-mail me to let me know - I actually expected to hear from you about this already ! I would then have "accepted" your refund thru PayPall and everything would have been fine. Now I see that you have canceled the refund you sent on 4-187 and told PayPall that you DID send me a refund even claiming that you can prove that. I have NOT received any type of refund from you at ANY time, All you did was send me an E-Check thru PayPall that bounced !

e check as of today has bounced 4 times. costing me $100 for NSF. this is not your fault it is mine. even though you did not accept it they still kept trying to put it through. i had called paypal and they had told me that there was no way for them to reverse it or hold it so that it wouldn't bounce again. so in order for me to stop it i had to resolve it. the only way it would let me resolve it was with tracking # which i didn't have, reverse through paypal which i tried or refund money another method than paypal which i choose. after i clicked that it asked for me to fax them stuff. which i don't even have to fax but by then it was too late. That's why its such a big mess.

What a lot of trouble to get some parts......for $100?

I would have been on his door step with an intent to break his face right open as soon as he answered the door!

here are some seller/buyer tips:

#1 pay-pal will refund your money if you don't recieve your items.

did he have proof of shipping, NO, ---k'em. wheter it's his fault or not, you are waiting more than 2-weeks with no parts, it's your money, if he didn't operate with a CYOA policy, then who should be concerned? He obviously is incapable of sending or does not have the parts in the first place. He could have spent the extra 0.75 for cert. mail or just spent less altogether at UPS w/$100 included insurance....and a tracking #.

You recieved the package, and are looking for more $$?? What kind of ****e is that? How can he proove that?

It reminds me of an employer who ripped me off on pay. I filed an LLA-3 form with DOLI in VA, I asked for all of my 'ADVANCE' payments (illeagal garnishments SHOWN on my pay-stubs) to be returned. I was awarded the back pay, $395, $88 of that was for a wholesale priced clutch kit that I did recieve. Did I sign a reciept for it? No, I didn't, is it installed in my car? Yes it is indeed Did he have any paperwork to prove I had been pay advanced for the cost of this item? No, did he run an auto parts business? Yes, who's fault is that....not mine! I considered it a small push-back for his dishonesty in the firstplace. In your case, you were asking for a refund you were fully entitled to.

A+ for using Pay-Pal, but you should have sought your refund as soon as you were entitled it. It would have put negative points on his pay-pal account. That almost happened to me because I dealt with Mail Boxes Ect., bad move, they stalled a $400 package for almost a month!

UPS ground ever since, it takes 7 days to reach coast to coast.

#2 the first thing I do when i mail a package, is send the tracking number to the buyer on email. Then they can monitor the progress, most don't but it is a comfort.

I always insist that I personally confirm the package was sent, even if I haven't heard from them in a negative way. I never even withdraw my funds or cash a MO until I get personal confirmation. I politly ask for feedback response in my thread, it doesn't always happen, but some people took the time. There are way more happy customers than my thread shows, I have a life myself, so i can understand that they had other things to do. I still confirmed that they recieved and were happy with my parts.



MY VOTE: BIG LOSER, In Boston they would simply call him a ******! In VA or father south he would be trifle...

Something must have come up. Sounds like you two just got really frustrated with eachother and he snapped first.

 

I can see how he might think you got the packages and were trying to get more outa him, but he should have spent a few cents and got delivery conformation for that very purpose. Anyways, that sucks that you never got your money back!
