I have noticed that my RPM's vary at Idle between 800-1200. The car has a very large cam and a victor JR intake? Is this just the way it is? It does not idle all over the place, just sometimes at idle it will idle at 800 and other times it will be up to 1200. Also, sometimes when I stop, the car tries to die? Is this the float levels being to low, or is it because of the vacuum draw from the brakes? TIA

Big cams aren't made to idle low....800 is pushing it (stalling) if it's as massive as you make it sound.

You may need to look into getting a stall converter 2400-3000.At least thats what i believe is causing my idling problems at this time.
