Ok so what was the deal with holley carbs and 700r4?
I read a while back the the TV cable will not adjust or something when using a 700r4 & a Holley carb and the bracket need to be changed. I dident pay attention at the time because I dident have a 700r4. I looked in jegs and all I saw was brackets for projection units. What gives will the holley ruin my 700r4? If so how? I tryed a search on tranny, tech GE and carb. I just cant find that thread.
Yea I know a thread that borders two sections.
Thanks

If you use a Holley with a 700R4 you require a bracket (part no. 20-95) to hook the TV cable up with the correct geometry. You can probably modify the stock one and many people have.

Thanks for the reply. Is anyone using thier stock bracket? If so how did you bend it? I have the tv cable set at a slight angle attached to the very bottem hole on the carb. Is that good enough or should I try and bend the bracket where it will set the tv cable straight on?
Thanks!
