Throttle bracket #20-95 doesn't fit?
Parts:
Pro-Systems 950HP
Holley 20-121
Holley 20-95
Okay so I've had this carb for almost 3 years now and haven't really used it. My old one was a piece of junk pulling 18:1 A/F Ratio, then we had our first kid. I've only been idling in and out the garage to get to things when needed. I was using a generic throttle/kickdown bracket without the adjustment corrector since it didn't fit on the old carb.
I want to get it running condition where I can drive it on the road so I bought the Holley adjustment corrector #20-121 to get correct TV cable alignments and pressures. That went on easy enough.
I went to put on my Holley #20-95 (steel throttle/kickdown bracket) and it's not bolting to my carb. The ear of it is hitting the baseplate and I'd have to straighten out the ear to get it to fit. Then it'll probably want to rotate since it's only one nut holding it in place.
I thought about using my generic bracket and using a digital caliper on it to get exact measurements between the hole to the adjustable brackets basically duplicating the #20-95, but wanted to see if anyone else had ideas first.
So ideas?

Here's is what Prosystems said:
The Jegs bracket has a good track record of working well. I would do that before I bent anything for clearance.

Guessing I'll try that if I remember I will post measurements.

I will just be happy when I can drive it again and try to tune the carb/spacer. I better pick up 100 RWHP or I'm gonna be a little upset.

The jegs bracket will work fine as long as the tv cable holder is in the correct position. You can also just flatten the tab on the holley bracket. I have don this many times.

Well I duplicated the Holley bracket spacing to the Jegs one. The throttle cable still isn't correct as it's only opening up the carb around 75%. I'm going to try getting an older f-body one made for carb. I'm currently using a TBI cable because most people said that worked for them.

Now as far as the throttle cable you can adjust it anywhere it needs to be to get full throttle. If its still not getting full throttle it could be a old stretched cable or in some cases i have even seen the gas pedal has bent some over time.

You only need to roughly duplicate the tv cable position. As long as when you push the cable all the way toward the firewall using the button on it and when you floor it it clicks back out some it's basically adjusted right.
Now as far as the throttle cable you can adjust it anywhere it needs to be to get full throttle. If its still not getting full throttle it could be a old stretched cable or in some cases i have even seen the gas pedal has bent some over time.

Maybe I'll try to get one of my two toolbox anchors and put that on the pedal (35 lb dumbbell).
