I started tearing down my carb and i had a coworker that decided he wanted to take over, well i found a small light duty spring on the bench and i cant find where it goes. Its maybe 1/2 inch long real light, any ideas where it goes?

 

Accelerator pump?

 

Spring on the right is accel pump, the little guy on the left is where im stumped at.

 

Spring-loaded off-road needle?

 

I really have no idea, only just rhe one little spring.

 

I recognize it, but it's been so long since I've been inside an Edelbrock that I don't remember what it is.

 

Can i go on with out it?
