Going from TBI to Carb-What's needed?

I'm thinking of trying to convert the tbi to a carb system. Its on a 1990 SS 454 I have had it bored to a 468. I have the tbi on it now but when you give it gas it pops through the tbi. I have been told that I need a chip in the ECU but not sure what kind of chip to get and it may be more then I want to spend. So I have a old dominator intake and was wondering how and what do I need to convert it back to a regular carb motor. Thanks Robert

You need a distributor with vacuum and mechanical advance.

I would go with a chip from harrisperformance @ TBI Chips .com or u could get a ebl flash and start learning how to tune EFI yourself .. U also may need a larger TB if u have major mods like cam head work or increased compression ...
CFMTECH.com sells ported throttle bodies that flow way better than stock ! Just my 2 cents tho .. I wouldn't downgrade to a carb . U r going backwards in technology .. And ur gas mileage will get worse along with emissions
