Rochester quadrajet leaking from top fuel bowl? And needle
When I start the engine up, it's starts overflowing thru the needles and goes on the top of the fuel bowl. I rebuilt this carb and it worked well before. I can't figure out what's wrong. Any ideals?

Your float is either set wrong or stuck in the down position. Your car is probably running very rich too. You can pull a plug to find out.
I rebuilt my quadrajet and I have fuel coming up through the top and out of the exhaust. Same symptoms as you. Needless to say the carb is coming back off today.....

Yea my floats looks bent at the hinge. Maybe that's causing it to stick open. I'm putting a new float in now hoping that fixes it

I took apart mine and everything seemed 'good.' I still took the whole thing apart and put everything back to initial settings. I hope this fixes my problem as well.
