Pro systems carb??
just wondering if anyone on here has dealt with them? ive heard good things about them online and on here as well. i sent the a custom carb request form like almost 3 weeks ago and another one last week and still no response. makes me think of going with a quick fuel carb instead if their service is like this. advice?

Re: Pro systems carb??
good quality service is a repsonce within a few days. i sent a random generic question to eagle last week to help me identify a crank (it was supposidly an eagle crank) and they let me know the next day exactly what is was. i wasnt asking about a product i was potentially buying, or bought from them, but they still got back to me in a timely maner. thats good customer service.
if you still havent heard back from this company after 3 weeks, id move on to somewhere else.
on a side note, this would probably be better off in the aftermarket vendor review board.

Re: Pro systems carb??
I have had 3 Pro-Systems carbs, I would highly recommend them. Each carb was very close on the tune right out of the box. I've emailed and called Patrick a few times with tuning questions and have gotten very quick responses. 1st class product and customer service in my experience.

Seems like a lot of people like them. They get alot of raves over on YB.com but over 3 weeks is not good though.

Re: Pro systems carb??
I have a Pro Systems carb. I would not recommend them nowadays. I bought a 750 CFM carb from Patrick at Pro-Systems, and I decided to put a small roots blower on later.
When I called to ask about converting and tuning (a ball park tune) my current Pro-Systems carb to a power valve referenced carb for the new blower I had, they quoted me a price for a entire new carb basically....over 700 bucks!! It's all about money with them now....if you ain't got a lot of it, they could care less...just my experience with them. I ended up converting my old Demon carb to run well with the blower, and they (Demon) offered a baseplate that allowed the power valve to be referenced with intake vacuum for 1/3 the price of Pro-Systems quote. I'm still hearing good things about quick fuel however.
I've been thinking of going with Quick Fuel on my next blower carb purchase.

Re: Pro systems carb??
yea ive been leaning towards quickfuel more and more lately. im just confused on gettin down-leg boosters or the annular boosters? i know the annular booster carbs are more money but that doesnt always mean better lol. so for a street/strip car any opinions and why would also help. i know intake/motor setup is important. it has a hi-rise single plane intake right now. going to be a 383 stroker next spring....its a 355 right now tho. but winter is coming which means into storage for the camaro .

Re: Pro systems carb??
The carb I went with is a Q-750-AN (the part number). I've also got a 355 just like you. If you're still hesitant, call them. They'll tell you anything you need to know and they definitely don't BS around; even on "newbie questions". I was in your spot also coming from fuel injection (having little knowledge on carbs at the time) and I wanted the best street/strip carb for my build.
