quadrajet info needed
can somebody measure the throttle arm on a quadrajet carb from the centerr of the arm to the kickdown nipple for me PLEASE. i cant find info anywhere and im having trouble with my kickdown cable with my edelbrock carb. thank u

I measured for you. 2 and 3/4 from the top or 2 1/4 from the center of the throttle mount. Also a picture for you from from a 1980ish Q jet carb with a tape measure so you can see yourself.

anybody use the spectre adjustable bracket for the throotle and kickdown? will that help me get more out of cable since i dont thimk its pulling it out far enough?

You are welcome.....I had read quite a few posts about this issue when I did my build, I have an edelbrock intake with a stock Q- jet throttle bracket, I did have to use some washers as shims to get the right angles, but it works good.
