you can use a universal bracket but i always have to modify them to work correctly. since camaros came with carbs, the cable for a carbed engine will work.

I used a Spectre universal throttle cable and bracket for my carb swap. They're not that expensive, can be found at most auto parts stores, look pretty good, and work great.

holley makes the brackets you need for the tv cables. and it is a good chioce if you have a 700R4 tranny. these holley brackets are crucial for the overdrive of the 700R4.

Re: what brackets to use on this carb
I just recently switched from TPI to a Mighty Demon. The stock cables will work...with some modifications. First, you need the 700R4 geometry corrector that goes on the carb linkage (I used a TCI). I then bought a swivel mount for the throttle cable to hook to the carb linkage (I believe MR. Gasket makes them). I had to cut the swivel mount to get the TPI cable to fit inside it (the end of my TPI cable looks like a barrel). It took about 30 seconds with a Dremel. I purchased the universal bracket to mount the TV and throttle cables to the carb baseplate. After much modifying, I threw the POS in the garbage. Don't waste your money. I am going to make my own from some aluminum sheet stock this weekend. Lastly, the travel on your gas pedal may be a little too much for the carb linkage. Too many stomps to the floor and something could bend. I am going to put a possitive throttle stop on the pedal linkage. This was with my BG...Holley may not be exactly the same. Also, my car is a 1990 IROC, so it may not be exactly the same.

I used the edlebrock bracket but then again i have an edelbrock carb. Def. be sure to get that geometry corrector Overdrive Bowties will be able to help you out. And the cables obviously can't be re-used (i had my head up my ***, sorry)....im gonna purchase a detent cable & throttle cable for 1990 305 TBI car to use with my edelbrock....
