anyone know where I can get the duct for a duel snorkle aircleaner?

I located a duel snorkle aircleaner, but I am running into a brick wall finding the duct tubes for it. Looking for ideas.

I looked online at spectre, and I didn't see anything that would work. I am gonna call this week during business hours and ask a person.

Did you get a performance increase with the tbi to card switch? I have the same thing going on w/ my rs. I have a tbi, but it runs excellent. I really need a different rearend with taller gears than 2.73's.

Re: anyone know where I can get the duct for a duel snorkle aircleaner?

mine was having some issues with the fuel injection and the intake was leaking coolant. decided to throw on the carb swap. i have been enjoying it ever since. there is some tuning that will have to be done to the dizzy and carb to get it right but i think it is worth it.

just found this--http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SPE-8741/

I happen to like carbs myself. I am an old school man at heart. It's hard to get used to port injection, vac lines, computers, sensors...... well you get the picture. Did you modify the valve train?

Most flexible ducts are round, not oval, and different sizes on each end.

ramairbox.com used to sell them, but I believe they ran out (just like everyone else). Someday the demand will be sufficient for someone to start making them again, but so far, to the best of my knowledge, no one has.

Re: anyone know where I can get the duct for a duel snorkle aircleaner?

I found 2 ducts for the 350 air cleaner. They are more rubbery than plastic, so I am gonna use a heat gun, and slowly stretch them to fit the snorkle. They are just a heartbeat away from fitting. I'm waiting for one of my gear head friends to get home. I need more than 2 hands..

Nice setup. The second pic doesn't work. How did you attach the right side snorkel?

Re: anyone know where I can get the duct for a duel snorkle aircleaner?

I have the duct down against the "hole" behind the headlight. Not exactly ram air, but those factory scoops don't look like they let a lot of air in either. I attached the factory duct to the 350 duct, and they fit perfectly. Try the pic again. I was able to view it. Let me know if you still can't see it. btw, I would like to find a passenger side scoop if I could find one.

No, couldn't open it. Says it's an invalid attachment (P1010085.JPG). Good luck finding the other scoop!
