rich idling speed demon 750

i just finished w/my carb swap, and now my carb is idling rich. I have played w/the timing and mixture srews, but it didnt help.It also stumbles at low engine speeds or in high gear. My engine builder said something about a power valve swap, some people have told me to go down a couple of jet sizes, or drill holes in the throttle blades. Anyone had similar problems w/their demon? the carb is brand new out if the box. It was fuel injection and still has a high volume pump, i put the right fuel pressure regulator on it and a fuel pressure guage on it, and it reads about 7psi. The carb also builds up and smokes when idling. Im tired of my eyes being burned by the fumes.

The jets have nothing to do with the rich idle. What are all 4 corners turned too and where are your floats set at in the sight glass? And do you have the idle eze version ? Whats the power vavle in it now a 6.5 ?

what's vacuum at idle? what size cam? I'm guessing you need more initial timing and have a larger cam.
