WOT misfires bad

( specs) 86 IROC
383 stroker
Scat Crank, I beam rods,10.5 to 1 compression forged pistons,
High volume oil pump
Dart Iron Eagle heads,215cc intake runner,72ccchamber,
205”/160” valves
Solid roller camshaft, scorpion aluminum roller rockers, stud girdles, bow tie tall valve covers.
Victor aluminum intake with a Holley 750cfm mechanical sec.carb
Long tube headers with Brand new true duel exhaust with holley blue fuel pump.

Heres the problem this motor will rev to 7100RPMs if you rev slowly without flooring it. If you wot at any rpm it will start backfiring and and quit reving.I just replaced everything electrical and rebuilt the carb. It seems like the secondarys aren't puttin out the fuel IMO. Any Ideas help please thanks

Have you checked the float level in the secondary bowl?

Re: WOT misfires bad

This carb I've got has the little hard to see in plastic site plugs.Which are brand new. I have tried looking in and can see the float but have no Idea where they should be at. I have worked on many of the screw in type, there easy but this one I dunno...... Any help would be appreciated thanks.

The purpose of the site plugs is to set the float while the fuel pump is pumping, so that the fuel level comes just to the bottom of the hole.
