Ok, so my daily project is almost done. before this, the only carb's ive dealt with are Edelbrock's and Quadrajet's so i need some help, having never fiddled with a Holley before. I need to know what to do with the tube on the other side of the carburetor opposite the fuel line.

Well, I suppose you could do pretty much whatever you want with it.
Put old chewing gum in there, for instance.
Most people don't do anything with it, because it doesn't do anything. Both primary and secondary fuel bowls are made from the same casting, then in final machining they become either a primary or secondary fuel bowl. Or secondary double pumper or secondary VS.

That side should be pluuged from the factory. Are you saying it's open and
fuel is able to run out?
