BG Tri Power Induction
Considering the purchase of a BG Tri Power Induction system for a new 363 street motor build that I have going. Anyone have any experience with the Tri Power set up?
Thanks

Re: BG Tri Power Induction
No experience with that setup, but past experience says the answer comes in this simple formula.
MULTIPLE CARBS=TUNING NIGHTMARE
Sure it LOOKS awesome, but you're constantly tinkering with it.
I would just run a 750dp and enjoy the ride. Just an opinion though.

Tri power? Are you talking about the Badman, or a triple two barrel thing?
363 stroker? How did you come up with 363 cubes?

The 363? It's a 30 over bore 350 with a 3.625 crank, 6.0 rods.

Re: BG Tri Power Induction
.... I'm at a loss, so i'll ask anyway, why do a 3.625" stroke? That's a strange combo, so I imagine the pistons needed to be custom or at least rare, so more $$. Why not do the simple route and do the 383?
And yea, a bigger 4bbl would probably work the best as far as mileage, tune-ability, and power.

That setup is still 750cfm(250cfm x 3). Just gonna cost a cool "G". For the money it aint worth it. Just keep in mind yer tuning in 3 carbs not 1. Every adjustment you make to 1 will mess with the other 2. Last time I checked that makes for a huge PITA. Been there, done that. Will NEVER do it again.

MrBrooks, thanks for the cu inch bump! I'd never taken the time to do the math. Guess I need to dust off the calculator.
Sonix, here's the 3.625 story; A local speed and machine shop that specialized in building high performance GM engines, would occasionally put together some odd ball short and long block configurations at or below cost for some of his customers. I picked up a couple complete short blocks, pretty cheap.
Small block 350, late style one piece seal, .030 over, line bored, decked .030, forged Scat crank, forged Scat rods, ARP bolts, forged TRW light weight flat top pistons, Mahle rings, all balanced, freeze and cam plugs, all installed and...ready to finish. $1,000 out the door. What? Why not?
Thanks for your input and advice. BTW, I'm sticking with the tried and true 4bbl. That is, unless BG releases a new Badman to fit my Vortec heads!
