backfires on decel.......
i changed the PV on my holley 3310 from a 6.5 to a 9.5 and now the car backfires whenever the car decellerates. i think the PV is opening too soon now and the fuel mix too rich now....motor pulls 20" of vacuum at idle and i'm running with a t-5 and 3.73 rears....i'm thinking i should go back to the 6.5PV....

Re: backfires on decel.......
only out the tail pipe.......behaves like a road race car..just pops and gurgles as i enter a corner then accelerates fine......is it timing? or do i have that much unburned fuel in the exhaust?
