Recommended fuel filters?
What fuel filter & micron rating would be the best to run between my tank pickup and Holley blue electric pump, and also between the pump and carb?
Line Size: 3/8" (6AN) hard lines, stainless steel tubing.Feed and Return.
Looking to get quality filters as I am redoing the entire fuel line system in the car.I run the stock tank pickup with no sock on it as it was deteriorated.
BG,Aeromotive,Summit?

BG, Aeromotive, Russell, and Summit all make good filters in my opinion, they are all very similar. My stock tank is sumped and I have an Aeromotive electric pump and return style regulator will braided lines connecting it all. A lot of people will say to run no filter between your tank and pump but I've seen a lot of pumps fail prematurely because they get plugged up...therefore I run one anyway(you would be surprised how much junk can be in pump gas). I'm using a 40 micron Russell competition filter between the tank and pump, it has a fine wire mesh element that can be removed and cleaned. Its designed to catch the big stuff that could damage the pump but also isn't too restrictive and hard on the pump. Then between the pump and regulator I have a Russell 10 micron Pro-filter to filter out the fine stuff that could cause carb problems. This setup is probably overkill but its worked out great for me, I've never had any problems out of my fuel system. I just clean the metal mesh filter once a year and replace the element on the 10micon filter once every 2-3 years.

Thanks jbenge!
After talking to techs at all the listed above I am set on going with Aeromotive right now. These guys were more than helpful.
I have to run a pre pump filter as well just due to the fact that I removed the factory pickup strainer years ago as it was junk.
I plan to run the #12304 (100M) on the inlet side and #12301 (10M) on the outlet side.Much like yours it will be overkill, but for filtering situations I would rather that.
