that'll work. 1/3 can is what it says on the label though. throw a third in the gas tank, then do a third through the intake. save the last 3rd for a rainy day, or put it in your crank case (oil).

Tranny fluid will clean and lube the upper part of the heads really well, only wse a little bit like 3 oz to 10 gallons of gas. I have also had great luck with seafoam and Berrymans

By spraying stuff down the carburator,
You risk washing the oil off the cylinder walls and rings which will scuff the rings.
Just go buy a new set of spark plugs and take it for a ride and blow the crabon out of 'er. then replace the spark plugs.
Ive found that nitrous oxide does a fantastic job of "decarbonising" the combustion chambers. A small 100hp shot will surely clean 'er out. Again, replace the spark plugs after. You have to replace the spark plugs cause all the carbon that gets blasted off the piston tops fouls the plugs.
Plain old water (water injection) will steam clean the combustion chambers spotless, but must be injected while the motor is at mid/high rpm 3000+ and at least partial load. Like when cruising down the hiway at 60+MPH.
A simple windshield washer pump and squirter setup is all that needed.
be sure to put a NOS fuel solenoid in the water injection line to avoid siphoning. You can control the amount of water flow by adjusting the voltage to the pump. Water (steam) will work better than any chemical product. Only a small amount of water needs to be injected, but requires time (a good drive on the hiway) to work. Take a spark- plug wrench/socket and a set of new spark plugs with you.

This will not fix a faulty o2 sensor but can/will fix a "lazy" one caused by the carbon buildup.

Hey just a quick thought. In the Goldwing site EVERYONE swears by MMO. They use it at every fill up, dont use too much or it will smoke. Seems to remove deposits from carbs, keeping them clean. I used to use it, did run better after just one tank. They also use it about 100 miles before oil change, cleans out sludge.

Go down to your local GM dealer and get a can of X-66. If available, get the X-66A (aerosol). Spray to your hearts content down the throttle while running. Do this in an open area, engine will smoke. "Best stuff in the world".

never heard of x-66, but have heard of gm top engine cleaner, both aerosol and liquid.
that is the BEST I have found in the last 25 years.
CONKLIN 4 power is the best in tank additive I have found in the last 25 years. run it 4 times a year
Conklin Company Inc., then find a distributor near you.
ATF is NOT good for o2 sensors, but is a good carbon remover. same with antifreez. water is a very good carbon remover, but only in the combustion chamber, it obviously won't get the carbon off the carb and out of the passages. get the aerosol gm top engine cleaner.

Top Engine Cleaner is X66. It's the stock # or item #. If you ask for X66(A) they'll know what your talking about.

I just looked at the 2 cans of gm top engine cleaner at my shop and neither of them have "x66" on them anywhere.
I've been in gm dealers since 1989, and have never heard of it called "x66"
doesn't matter..... it's still the best stuff.
