AED "Eliminator" Carbs
Has anyone run these? I'm basically comparing these to a speed demon. My main concern is that it may not be big enough. I'm runing the 355 for a bit, but hopefully by mid summer I'll hvae the same top end as in my sig, but with a 383 shortblock and a fairly large cam.

AED makes very nice products. Not sure what you mean by " Eliminator" carb as it does not seem to be listed on their Web Site.

I'd think a 750DP should be more than adequate for both the 355 and the 383.

This was the one I'm talking about. "Our new "Eliminator" carburetor is designed for 302-360ci engines in heavier cars or with tight converters. It features a CNC ported 650 main body mated to an 850 baseplate for good airflow for power, but smaller venturi sizing for exceptional acceleration. One Killer carburetor for small block Fords." http://www.aedperformance.com/SupMod.htm
Thanks, I think I'm gonna have to pick one up

Why don't you call AED Tech support and ask for their recomendation? They are very friendly and knowledgable from my experience.
BTW, going with a custom mfg like AED is certainly a bonus as they will setup the carb to your specific cars use and specifications BEFORE shipping it to you. Much better than buying an "off the shelf " unit from Holley or even Demon. And you get a custom tuned and prepped piec that is the same price or even cheaper than a comparable Holley or Demon product ( in most cases ).
