Help me Identify
Im recieving a 350 out of my friends blazer. The motor was originally out of a vette but I dont know if that includes the heads/intake/carb or even cam.
The carb on it resembles a q-jet but it differs from the one on my camaro so I just dont know.
Here are some pictures to help.

Doesn;t look like a "vette motor" to me. Looks more like a truck motor.
Pull off one of the valve covers and read the cylinder head casting number.

my friend told me that the engine has been in his family the whole time, im not saying vette motor just to sound cool, I know there isnt any difference, they are all sbc's.
My friend told me that the engine was out of a 79 vette and the engine has been rebuilt twice, they put it in the blazer because they had nothing to put it in, and they gave the truck to patt. His uncle is a mechanic and thats who owned the engine originally.

thats a zoomed in shot of the carb. If that helps
How would I go about telling if its cc or non-cc.. I mean that is if its a q-jet

ah alright, I was hoping it wasnt a q-jet becaues then I would have used it with my performer rpm intake and then not have to worry about hood space with an extra inch due to the deletion of the adapter plate.. oh well, Ill just cut a hole in my hood or something in the meantime untill I buy a cowl
