sec. meter rods and hangers for a 350?
When swapping out a 350 for a 305, should the metering rods and hangers be replaced, or should they be left as they are? Its a mildly built 350.
I was also wondering if anyone would be able to tell me where i could buy the rods and hangers? And also any suggestions for sizes and whatnot would be greatly appreciated.

You can get some hangers from Edelbrock thru Summit. Also look up the rod PN in the tech article section here and plug into GM Parts Direct . The DR's are # 17053659

Sticking with a computer controlled q-jet? Then the primary rods will be hard to get, and I think the jets as well...
Secondaries are the same comp or non comp, so Edelbrock has those. But the secondary rods and hanger does less then the primaries...
You should have a speed shop in your town that carries the edelbrock line, and has those rods/hangers on the shelf....?
If I was you though, i'd be hunting junkyards and starting a collection of rods/jets/hangers, you'll need them.

The subject line says secondary rods & hangers, the sig says stock carb.
I'd conclude from that that he's only looking for the secondary parts.

fair enough.
Just saying, that make sure your primaries are *right* before dealing with secondaries, otherwise you might just bring yourself further from the correct tune....
But, on a stock, CC-qjet, I assume the primary system is adequate as is...
