Holley 650cfm
Would this style carburetor work with my stock 1987 camaro 4barrel manifold - 305ci.?
Holley 650cfm - mechanical secondaries - square bore - model 4150 - double pumper
Also - does anybody know the cfm of my stock carb?

It would not fit directly on your stock manifold. You'd need a spread bore to square bore adapter.
Your stock carb is easily capable of flowing 750 cfm, probably more. Certainly more than the 305 is capable of using.
Why exactly are you considering the Holley?

Im considering this particular Holley mainly because of the deal I would be getting. I'm being offered that model Holley for 150 dollars with less than a few hundred miles on it. I've been in the market for a new carb afterall, and I wasn't exactly sure if this model would be too much for my engine - or even if it would fit. Thanks for the info.

I'm considering now simply purchasing a rebuild kit for my stock carb - seeing as how i'll probably save a lot more money with similar results - correct?

Similar or better, depending upon your criteria for "results".
Switching to the Holley would require a different distributor, a different means of locking the torque converter clutch and attaching the throttle valve cable if automatic. Plus the aforementioned adapter, reduced hood clearance, different air cleaner, etc.

Qjets are good carbs. Stay with the Qjet if you can. The only reason I switched to the Holley I have now, is because I wanted to get all the computer control out of the car, since none of it wanted to work for me. I got the Holley for $75, and a manifold that would work with it for another $40. The distributor is a stock vacuum advance HEI, with only a Mallory coil and a mechanical advance curve kit (springs and weights).
