linkage for T.V. cable and cruise control for edlebrock 1407 carb?
just wondering how everyone who is running these carbs is hooking up their T.V. cable and cruise control....because the linkage on there doesnt look like it will do all three lik the stock Q-jet's do, and also i was looking at Edelbrock's selection of linkages and none of them look to resemble to have the same sort of hookup that the stock q-jet's have.....anyone have a part number that has the hookup's for those two pieces?

Be sure to double check your TV cable geometry after installation. Most of the brackets on the market are for the TH350 kickdown cable, not the 700R4 / 200-4R TV cable. They can still be made to work though.

Sorry, didn't see your picture there. Yes, those are the holes to use. The TV cable hole isn't really in an ideal spot, geometrically speaking. A couple of companies make little bolt-on adapters that put it back a better spot. It'll work as it is though but your part-throttle shift timing might not be quite right.

yea i was wondering about that too...but i figured that if i used that bracket from jegs, i could adjust it to the right height because it looks like the height is adjustable......
but as for the hookup for the CRUISE control?
any ideas? or suggestions

You'd probably have to use a longer stud in the top hole that could mount the throttle cable and cruise cables. How is the stock cruise cable attached? Can you post a pic?

its not the best pic....wish i was near my car cuz i would go out and take a quick pic but this is the best i have.....
it looks like to make it all work i will have to make it so the top linkage spot (the BIG one) on the edelbrock to be the throttle hookup and the have the one i was going to do for the throttle as the curise control...and then for the t.v. still the bottom one.....
