rejet or rebuild carb
first i must say i did a search on the boards to find the one page im looking for, it was i think on one of the main pages awhile ago about either rebuilding or rejetting a carb. i would like to see that page again since i will most likely be doing that soon to my stock qjet 4 barrel. so if anyone knows of the page and has the link it would be greatly appreciated

Get ahold of one of these books:
"Rochester Carburetors: Tune, Rebuild or Modify" by Doug Roe.
"The Haynes Rochester Carburetor Manual" by Mike Subblefield.
Both are comprehensive guides to the rebuild and adjustment of q-jets (and the other Rochester carbs), and are available on amazon.com. I have both, and don't see one being particulary superior to the other - except that the Haynes will probaby be available at your local friendly corner parts store.
When you get a rebuild kit, it will have adequate instructions for the disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and adjustment of the carb.
Unless you're talking about a Canadian/non-CC q-jet, there is no rejetting required for the primaries. For the secondaries, DR rods or something close, and B hanger is usually pretty close.
There is a link to the Tech Articles on the TGO home page. There is a tech article within about getting the most out of your CC q-jet, but it isn't intended to be a comprehensive guide on rebuilds.
