cc Qjet & Blower
Has anyone used a supercharger with a stock Computer Controlled Q-jet? Either blown through centrifugal or roots style? Would it support such a system?

Yes, it will. I installed a kit on a mid-80s Camaro. The Weiand 142 roots blower, with the stock cc-QJet carb sitting on top of it. Various things had to be worked around (the EGR system, vacuum lines, temp sensors, etc.). Once we got it all sorted out, it ran beautiful. I installed a richer set of DA secondary rods into the carb, just to be safe, but otherwise the ECM ran the whole shoot'n match. The Weiand 142 is avaailable in a special kit that is emissions legal ONLY for 1986 carbureted Camaros, but can be adapted to other years with the cc-QJet.
Weiand is owned by Holley, FYI. I highly recommend you spend some time on the phone with their tech guys before you start laying out money.
No idea about centrifugal blower kits, but they probably are equally challenging.

I know this post is being brought back from the dead, but...
Damon, what did you do to get the throttle cable and TV cable to hook up to the carb after you installed the blower? I heard this was a beast of a task and I was wondering how you overcame this.
Thanks again.
