Carburetor Trouble

hi all
iam new to the board, just got a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am 5.0litre V8 305 crossfire
Now i have a big problem one of the carbs has sezed and wont move (one on the left), now your think thats easy hit it or get someone to fix it, well i tryed hittin it with no luck and since i live in the United Kingdom no one can repair these.
So it look like i can either send the carb to the USA and get it fixed or get a second hand one, so does any body know or does someone possibly have one they can sell or both, or even know a very good place that can fix/clean them up

i would be very greatful for anybodys help

If its Crossfire then its fuel injected not carbed. Its basically two TBI units miounted on a weird manifold. Any local fuel injector rebuilder should be able to rebuild them. Other than that I know very little of the crossfire system. You will likely get quite a few more knowledgable replies if you post something like "Crossfire injection problem..." on the fuel injection board. Good luck
