dual snorkel Flexible Ducts

I am trying to get some flexible Ducts for a Dual snorkel air cleaner. I see that there is a different part number for each side. Can someone tell me if, in reality, they can be interchangeable from left to right. So that maybe if i got 2 right side one I could make them work one on each side.

The right duct has a support bracket built into it (goes to a tab on the radiator overflow tank - if you have an L69 overflow tank).

aren't you talking about the scoops. I am talking about the flexible black tube between the scoop and the air cleaner.

You're right. I just need a every once in awhile.

Having actually gone out to look under the hood:

The right duct has a piece of sheet plastic stapled to the bottom side for scuff protection.

(But the right scoop does have the bracket...)

Since the openings on the hoses are the same on each end and since the hoses are flexible, why wouldn't they interchange with a bit of manipulation?

You can use 2 of the same side - you just need to install one upside down - clips facing toward the pavement.

Just to claify this. I just bought 2 new right (Passenger) side flexible ducts, part# 14083990 from gmpartdirect.com for about $16.00 a piece. They did not have the left side so I bought 2 right sides. They came in yesterday and they have the small scuff pad on the bottom. I put one on the right and one on the left with no problem. I was able to put both on with the scuff pad down because one just bends to the right and the other bends to the left. In the box they are just straight flexible tubes with no inherent bend in them.

hope this helps.

It has been a couple of years since I got mine, but that sounds right.

I could use the scuff pad on the bottom of the driver's side, too, but I didn't know when I ordered them what the differences were. They were both available, so I ordered one of each.
