Make sure the needle valve is not stuck. Even a piece of sand or grit can make it stick open.

Over rich condition may be caused by, (considering the fact that it's new) manual secondary's out of adj. (linkage) secondary's open too far. Bad power valve, timing too far retarded. Float level set too high (adj.) When all else fails, call the manufacturer and tell them your problem! They should have a help line # to work with you!

Doesn't it have an external float adj. screw on the top of the bowl
and a sight glass or screw on the side of the bowl? Hard to believe the allmighty deamon didn't come with those options!

You cleaned the needle, but did you check the seat? What kind of fuel pump are you running?

im using the tbi intank pump brand new with the mallory return style regulator primary bowl is set.seemed to work fine when i took float bowl off to clean things and set float, and to make sure fuel is getting to secondaries .at first i didnt have gas coming up in secondaries now i get to much.didnt get anything with the top float adjustments.once in awhile fuel pressure fluctuates all below 6 psi though.needle seat?just looks like thin sheet of metal with little bump on it .sorry new to carbs but learning.

I can give you things to look for!! Although I would suggest cont. the Mfg. for waranty purposes first, here's the list.
1. Make sure your turning the adj. screw the right way. (clockwise to lower the fuel level, counter clock to raise).
2. Being your adj. it from the inside bend float tang towards needle valve to lower fuel level.
3. Remove the float and shake to see if there is fuel in it (bad float)
4. Check power valve # for correct application (power valves are designed to open at different vac. levels.
5. Check power valve gasket for proper seat. (If you backfired after installation could have blown power valve but I think deamon would have anti backfire valve to protect it).
6. Check bowl to metering plate and metering plate to carb. body gaskets for fit and proper installation.
7. Check carb. to intake gasket for proper application (you might need a four hole spacer plate between the carb and intake if your running an open plenium).
8. Check the bowl vent to make sure it isn't pluged up with something.
9. Check throttle plates and make sure they are closed all the way on the secondary's.
10. Equalize the fuel feed lines to your bowls (fuel line, regulator, T or Y fitting, and equal length lines to each bowl) the fancy chrome jobs deliver a minut amount more pressure to the secondary's being the primary bowl is farther away from the secondary.
Man, that's about all I can think of at the moment! Hope this helps you some. I've gone through a half a pack of smokes just writing this! Any more and I'm going to choke! Good luck!
Wait a minute, (puff puff) this isn't necesesarly in order so do the obvios things that don't require dissasembly first. OK!
