I have a holley 650 double pumper that I put a proform main body kit on. According to the box the main body came in, it flows the same as a 870 holley carb. So what jet size approx. should I be experimenting with??? Right now I'm running 75's in front and 82s in back, doesn't seem to run all the good.....having a tough time tuning the car be "reading" the plugs. they are always dark colored no matter what jets I have in the car.

The main body came with 74/84 jets, correct? Did you try that?
The altitude would dictate 1 to 2 jet sizes down, typically. But, that varies with conditions.
What PV are you using? Have you checked cruising vacuum?
