demon dp idle mixture screws

demon dp idle mixture screws
i have a 750 dp demon. problem is that i can screw the mixture screws in on the driver side of the carb and they dont do anything,bottomed right out and doesnt stumble a bit,the ones on the passenger side work fine.so whats up with that ,oh yeah i just cleaned it all out and it still does it.

Run them all down and back them all out the same amount, try 1 1/2 turns out and go from there. Just a guess but the others might be backed out far enough to where just screwing in one wont make a bit of difference.

May be a stupid question but have you tried reversing what you're doing? Turn the driver's side out the same amount as the passenger side, then turn the passenger side all the way in? What does that do? Have you tried turning all in completely? If it still runs you have an internal leak somewhere (possibly the powervalve)
Have you touched the throttle adjuster any? Are you positive your transfer slots are exposed the proper amount? I'd start with all 4 screws out 1 1/2 turns and rather than backing them out more, I'd start by turning them all IN 1/8th of a turn at a time. My motor works best with them only 3/4 of a turn out... with 1 1/2 turns its so rich your eyes water.
