Q-Jet Secondary Metering Rods

I have posted several times on this topic. So, bear with me.

I am giving a Q-Jet to a friend for his stock non-computer 350 with cast iron exhaust manifolds. The carb has the "CV" (close to CK)secondary metering rods on a "B" hanger. Will this be too much for the 350 with iron manifolds? Or should we start with a leaner hanger?

You start by insulting the carb in the topic line, and then want us to give you advice? What's wrong with this picture?

Since I don't share your opinion of the carb, I'll respond anyway.

Both should be fine.

Thanx will try it.

PS. I also like the Q-Jet. It is a great stock to mild performance carb. We have been calling it a Q-junk since the 80's. Don't know where we picked it up.

the "B" hanger is what you want. CV rods are good rods, nice and rich at WOT.
