I need to sell mine NOW!!! I finally got the L69 A/C cleaned up and installed tonight. Looks badass! Upon closer inspection, I had one of those flame-arresting silver ring thingys also. It was quickly sent to the trash, though it took quite a bit of prying to break it free.

The ebay seller was either misinformed or a liar. L69 wasn't offered in '87 Camaros.

Chill! I was just quoting what someone else on here called it, OK I paraphrased actually. I don't care what its called. Looked damn restrictive to me so out it went.

As for the cost, it's worth it to me (I won it). It's pretty hard to find all the original parts on a dual snorkel intake. And with some tender loving (and new, PROPER sticker), I can see this setup going for upwards of $300 easily in 4 or 5 years. He gave me free shipping which was pretty cool of him, anyway.
