thumbs up for proform main body!!

I recently installed a proform main body on my 750dp. along with that I installed a set of long tubes and took out my shorties. man what a difference!!! I run here at the local 1/8 mile and run 8.15-8.30 depending on weather. well after the install my first pass was a 7.88, I thought that could not be right so I made another pass and went 7.88@88mph. I went back again on a hot day "last sunday here in GA" to see if the weather would affect it badly. well I went 7.931,7.930,7.936,7.932 all at around 86-88mph. I was impressed with the gains. I never expected to gain that much with the proform main body. I know the headers had some affect, but not near as much as the proform. I ended up jetting up 4 jets after the install to get it running almost perfect. I then went back and decided to spray it and to my amazment the car went 6.90's. it usually runs 7.10's and 7.20's on spray. when I saw the 6.90 I was shocked. I went back and made another pass and it went 6.93@98mph

I also took it to th dyno and put down 346rwhp and 423ftlb's I was very happy with the numbers. I tried to spray it on the dyno and all it did was spin the tires on all 4 tries. It shot up to 430rwhp and 527ftlb's and flat lined all the way to 6k. the tires just spun the whole time! it did this 4 times. I just could not get it to stop spinning. I was spraying 200

Yea, I was pretty impressed with the quality of there mainbodies.
I call it a Holley HP on a budget!!!

They're also supposed to be out with a billet throttle plate soon, and that's only $130 bucks.

For me, It cleared up some off idle & part throttle leans. It replaced my 830cfm "over carbed" mainbody.

Still tuning, but so far it's behaving nicely.

Congrats on the impressive gains. Doncha just love when you can honestly tell people "I don't know how much power it makes" because of a reason like that? Like a badge of honor.

Now go get thrown off you local dragstrip for lack of a rollcage. It's like being in Heaven.

Heh heh. Congrats, again.

Sorry not at this time. It's still gives me bigger gains on the top end, but my altitude was killing any reasonable part throttle criuse.
It's a #9381 race carb which only weighs in at $370 bucks. With the Stubstack, it only fits the K&N aircleaner bases.
It just took forever to mill the choke tower off...
