Here is my 509 bbc. I made the headers on a frantic rush after a sbc to bbc swap and needing to get the car back out racing asap. Qfp 950 brawler on top

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
Think you'll make the move to a more conventional header arrangement in the future?
While I appreciate all of the aspects of the forward facing header something in my old traditional bones looks for the old school approach.
I didn't much care for the Super Comp version of the big block swap headers (as installed on the 86 TA/502 BBC swap) as they swoop out to the rocker panel area however seeing as that you can build your own....

Its fun to tweak and tune.. with good gas I can push 15 lbs.. I've reworked the orig design enough to allow for the extra boost.. Did you also fit a Pontiac block into your 3rd gen?.. I used the RH battery box and stock 1980 wiring harness, all my stock gauges work.

327 SBC New Demon 625 cfm. A lot like the old quadrajet, smaller primaries with larger secondaries.

Export LG4 305. Edelbrock Performer 2101 intake, Accel distributor, M4ME Quadrajet, Lunati 420/443 cam, 1.5” headers. The air cleaner “just” clears the hood liner with the intake and fresh engine mounts.

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
i built the new headers and full aluminum under-car exhaust in spring of 2020. I also recently built some tailpipes out the back at the end of last year. check out the video on the tailpipes here

@mw66nova Beautiful!!!
Which Cylinder-Heads do you have, moving all the Fuel and Air that your Dual Pro-Systems 4150s provide?
Truly Beautiful! ...the Engine is; no arguments will be had here.
I love it!

Re: Post Your Carb'd Motor Pics
Have a 1984 Trans am with very low miles. 5.7 liter engine, carburetor with air induction. I will post my car shortly, but I am looking for the rubber adapter between the breather and hood. are they available as after market?
