sandblasting your carb: bad idea right?
My brother came to me excited about sandblasting his carb because a friend of his is about to do the same to his.
I told him that sandblasting a carb is a bad idea because the small idle ports and such will be effected by the sandblasting, vitually making the carb useless.

I wouldn't do it. Theoratically you can blow out all the passages afterward to clear out any sand, but you never know if one is gonna get stuck somewhere and be a total PITA to trace down.
