Best carb for this setup...

I was just hoping to get some of your opinions on this one...305, comp xtreme energy 262 cam, performer rpm manifold, and world 305 heads, which carb would you recommend me using for this setup, i'm sure i could get the q-jet rebuilt(runs horribly)but i'd would rather spend the money to get a brand new carb....thanks a lot guys

I have a Holley on one car and q-jet on another.

Road Demon sounds good to me.

Carb Slection

The Road Demon is an awesome carb and has plenty of tune abality for engines a low as 200hp up to 375+hp

The combo you are talking about would work quite well with a road demon, Although it comes jetted quite rich 70/78. The choke and mixutre are also very rich from the factory.

I currently run a Road Demon on my 350 with 882 heads EX268H and Performer RPM, its an awesome little carb that runs well in the cold the hot and the hummid.

Go with the Demon

hahaha sup shane... ill see if you are on aim when i get on but youll probably be asleep unless you are up at like 4 am. Good to see you are still around and didnt kill yourself with that bike hehe

and dammit carter makes a fine carb, under 200 dollars! with the money this dude saves on a carb he could buy like a few other go fast parts instead of a carb and I bet there will be no difference in 1/4 mile performance especially on that car.

Pablo, I totaled a couple of bikes, then my third one got stolen.

I'm out on the bike scene after my best friend died right be side me while we were riding wheelies.

The cars are still the only problem.

2001 Trans Am With Hotcam, Exhaust, Lid, Nitrous, Torque Converter

1992 Firebird has a 383 stroker roller motor coming... should be around 500hp/500ft lbs.

;-)

Well, I was working as an A@P (sheet metal mechanic to be exact) at Hamilton Aviation here in Tucson until I got laid off. SUCKS fat dick. So now I'm working ****ty side jobs until I can get a decent aircraft job again. Did they let you bring your car to Japan? LOL crazy street race stories. I think those days are coming to an end. I got a few tickets including a Racing on the highway/Exhibition of Speed that I'm fighting in court at the moment, so lets just say I've changed my driving habits just a bit..............now I make check passes before I race
