Engine: 388 stroker
Transmission: th350
is your timming set right could be to retarted and if it is set right is it doing it when the car is cold warm? i think it could be getting to little of an initial shot of fuel when you frist press the peddle you can fix that by tighting the nut on the front driver side of the carb to compress that spring alittle.. dont go to far tho just quarter turn then try it and go another quarter. this makes it push more gass out the sqwirters to evon out the rappid change in air volacity when you just punch it

With that cam and intake, gears will make or break you on off the line performance also. What ratio are you running?I run the same cam and intake with all else being different and off the line is nothing less than a smoke show on radials..slicks are another story. The more info on your whole drivetrain you can give can help us better recommend ideas for you to try.

"Stumbling" is an accelerator pump problem. Adjust it per the book, then tune with different cams if necessary (assuming the pump itself is working properly). Might need different squirters as well.
"Bog" is secondaries opening too soon. You probably have too weak of a spring in there. The secondaries can't just slam open, since the air will flow more quickly than the fuel can catch up in the passages - instant lean situation. I really like the Quick Fuel adjustable secondary housing I got from Jegs - one spring, just turn a screw to eliminate the bog.
The way both Holley and Quick Fuel describe secondary tuning, they say if you can feel the secondaries opening, they're opening too soon. Kind of counter-intuitive, but true.
